		<description>As a swim coach, I agree with Seth in the importance of stretching. Stretching relaxes your mind and tunes up your body and should be part of your daily life. Regular stretching reduces muscle tension; allows for freer movement; increases range of motion; and helps prevent muscle strains. A strong, pre-stretched muscle resists stress better than a strong, unstretched muscle. 

Proper stretching  makes activities like running, skiing, tennis, swimming, and cycling easier because it prepares your body for activity. It also promotes circulation and it feels good. Be sure to stretch properly, have fun, and listen to your trainer.
